At one point in the match, Team India seemed to be struggling and it seemed difficult to reach 200 runs, but apart from Mithali, some of Richa Ghosh's excellent shots helped the team build a respectable score against Australia.

Ghosh played a useful inning of 32 not out off 29 balls. Jhulan Goswami also contributed well with the bat. She scored 20 off 24 balls. With this, Yastika M. Natiya scored 35 off 51 balls. While opener Smriti Mandhana scored only 16 runs.
