India's campaign at the Badminton Asia Team Championships has come to an end. In this championship held in Malaysia, the Indian women's team failed to make it to the knockouts after losing their bouts on Friday. The women's team was defeated by Japan 4-1.

Khushi Gupta and Simran Singhi were defeated by Rui Hirakami and Yuna Kato 21-15, 21-16 while Tara was defeated 21-12, 21-16 by Hina Akeichi.
