Indians' interest in the world's largest biometric scheme  'Aadhaar' is more than porn. Instead of seeing porn movies, Indians are more concerned about Aadhaar and unique identification (UID). This is revealed in data from web analytics company Alexa.

According to Alexa, the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) website in India gets traffic much more than Xvideos.com, showing porn content. India is ranking third in the worldwide porn composition index. Xvideos is one of the fastest traffic websites in the world.

Alexa said that Xvideos is ranked 38th on the list of the most popular websites on the Internet.  UIDAI is ranked 14th in the Top 50 websites in terms of traffic in India. At the same time, Xvideos is at number 15.

However, Instagram.com is number 13. Google has different domains on top of the list. Facebook is at fourth place on the list. Rankings related to website traffic show that not everybody wants to leave any news related to the base. 

Typically people search the sources first, search the Google and go from there to UIDAI website. Or people go directly to this site through a link shared on Facebook.  People probably search for it on Google and head to UIDAI's website. Or perhaps they're directed there from a link shared on Facebook. That along with the government's incessant promotion of its biometrics scheme seems to have put UIDAI on everyone's minds.
