Progressive countries need progressive minds to work together. For which countries need to highlight the capabilities of the human mind, and a better medium of education or education of exposing them never comes to my mind. The education system in India has been going on since the Vedic period, when gurukuls or pathshalas used to be in a natural environment in the presence of gurus. Away from home, family and world, children earn all the knowledge by spending a long time in these national level gurukuls under the guidance of gurus. Equal education for all in the country has been buried somewhere in the pages of time. It's another thing that over time it has got to see many important changes.
In view of today's competition, the government officials have confirmed the importance of education and through it the improvement in the lives of the people to a great extent, thus a goal of education for all has also been announced. While we cannot deny that the India government and institutions are constantly working to improve the existing education model, there are still many issues that we are still grappling with.
Let us know that at present, diversity in the courses of different education boards is also becoming a big problem in the system. In the Indian education system, schools are affiliated to various boards, which are altering the prospects of the students. Unequal syllabus and subjects stand at times in front of the students, especially when they are participating in national level entrance examinations like CAT, JEE Mains, PMT, etc. Teachers and officials urgently need to establish a common regulatory framework for the curriculum, which should be followed by every education board, so that students can also get equal opportunities and learning experiences.
Of course, we have moved forward with the wheels of time, but we have still not been able to shake some of the old habits out of place. Learning to rote is one of them. The reason for this is that the student remembers that particular lesson, but goes away from the base behind it. Therefore, there is a dire need for schools and colleges to promote conceptual education or conceptual learning, so that students can properly understand the concepts concerned and use them better in the practical world. At the same time, limiting the scope of the learning experience to them has also started to have a bad effect on the growth of students. Therefore, it is important to introduce students to various subjects and vocational training from childhood. This is going to help them identify their potential and develop them in a better way.
At the same time, advisory boards should consider the participation of private companies and institutions. The participation of the private sector is very important to increase the reach of schooling and help improve learning outcomes. It could in the long run become a great complement to government institutions with a lack of adequate capacity and improving the economic condition of the region. There is a huge demand for education in India and it is the need of the hour to promote the private sector to supply it. It is high time that we, as a country, start taking education to that high level, on the basis of which the youth of tomorrow can be a part of the growing competition in the world and make India victorious by including it in this race.
