Lucknow: Another attempt of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has been successful. After getting approval from the central government, the country's first mega leather park is going to open in Kanpur, UP. This project will start in Ramaipur village of Kanpur. After getting approval from the centre, this leather park will be built at a cost of 5850 crores, which will provide employment to 2 lakh people.
It is hoped that soon CM Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone of the Mega Leather Park. Kanpur, the industrial city situated on the banks of the Ganges, is included in the main cities of the country. It is also famous as 'Leather City'. At one time, Kanpur was also called 'Manchester of the East' due to the textile industry. With the passage of time, this city lost its identity due to the neglect of the previous governments. Kanpur was mentioned only in the most polluted cities along the Ganges.
Fifty thousand people will get employment in the Mega Leather Cluster Project to be built under the Mega Leather Cluster Project to be built on 235 acres of land in Ramaipur village of Kanpur. 5850 crores will be invested in it. This dream project of CM Yogi Adityanath has got the green signal from the Union Ministry of Commerce.
