India will aim to win the first-ever ODI series victory on Australian soil by defeating the Australia in the third and the final ODI of the series on Friday at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The series is level at 1-1 and the winner of this contest will take away the series. Host has revealed their playing XI but surprisingly, India didn't announce their 12-member squad for first two ODIs and on Friday as well, there was no announcement, which leaves Australian team guessing the players of the guest teams for the 3rd ODI.

Virat Kohli is unlikely to any make major changes in the playing XI. Team Blue is expected to make just one change in playing XI, dropping Mohammed Siraj in place of either of Vijay Shankar and Khaleel Ahmed. Shankar could see himself making his ODI debut while Khaleel will get the nod if that's not the case. There can be a debate on the place of Ambati Rayudu but he is expected to be given a longer run as Kohli has  confirmed that that he is team India's number four batsman.

India's Likely Playing XI for 3rd ODI : Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni (wk), Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ambati Rayudu, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed
