New Delhi: Indian company Zydus Cadila has sought permission from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for emergency use for its corona vaccine ZyCoV-D. This corona vaccine, which is said to be safe for children, has a lot to do with it. This is the first palm mid-DNA vaccine. At the same time, it will be applied with PharmaJet technology without injecting, thereby reducing the risk of side effects.

The third phase of the corona vaccine ZyCoV-D trial of Zydus Cadila has been completed. It was attended by 28,000 participants. This is the biggest ever trial of a vaccine in India, the results are also said to be satisfactory. It was tested on 50 clinical sites in the country during the second corona wave. It is also said to be effective on delta variants. The study found that the ZyCoV-D corona vaccine of Zydus Cadila is safe for children between the ages of 12 and 18. It will be deployed with the help of PharmaJet injection-less technology (PharmaJet needle-free applicator). It does not require a needle.

The drug is filled in a needleless injection, then applied to a machine and applied to the arm. Clicking the button on the machine makes the vaccine enter the body. The company has talked about making 10-12 crore doses a year. A total of three doses of ZyCoV-D have to be taken. It is reported that all three doses are applied without the use of needles, thereby reducing the risk of side effects.
