New Delhi: As its newest mid-range smartphone, POCO debuted the X5 Pro 5G in India. The device's highlights include a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 108MP primary camera, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G processor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast-charging.

The cost of the device is Rs 22,999 for its base 6GB/128GB configuration. Starting on February 13, it will be available for purchase through Flipkart.

Due to its aggressively priced, feature-rich offerings, POCO is one of the top smartphone brand names in India. The X4 Pro 5G, which is quite well-liked in the mid-range segment, is replaced by the recently launched X5 Pro 5G. The kind of reception the device receives will be interesting to watch now that the market is more crowded thanks to competitors like Nothing Phone (1).

The POCO X5 Pro 5G has thin bezels, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a top-centered punch-hole cut-out. It has a rectangular camera module that is full-width and branded "POCO." With a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) 10-bit AMOLED screen, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection, the device offers a high-quality viewing experience. It comes in colorways of POCO Yellow, Horizon Blue, and Astral Black.

The POCO X5 Pro 5G has a 108MP (f/1.9) main camera on the back, along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro camera. It has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, along with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, is found inside the POCO X5 Pro. The device launches MIUI 14 on Android 12. It has a 5,000mAh battery and 67W fast charging is supported. You get 5G dual-SIMs, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm jack, and a Type-C port in terms of connectivity.

In 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations, the POCO X5 Pro 5G is available for Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 24,999, respectively. Starting on February 13, the gadget will be available for purchase through Flipkart in India. On ICICI Bank cards, customers can get a Rs. 2,000 instant discount.
