NEW DELHI: In a major event marking the inauguration of the priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a compelling address, showcasing India's swift advancements across various sectors, including space exploration. The Prime Minister's speech was delivered during the inauguration of the 17-kilometer priority section from Sahibabad to 'Duhai Depot.

Highlighting the nation's impressive strides in space exploration, PM Modi proudly announced India's imminent foray into sending an astronaut into space as part of the ambitious Gaganyaan mission. Additionally, he unveiled the country's aspiration to construct a space station, solidifying India's presence in the cosmos.

Dubbing India's maiden rapid rail service "Namo Bharat," the Prime Minister hailed this achievement as a historic moment for the country. PM Modi remarked, "The India of the 21st century is scripting a compelling narrative of success across all spheres. Today's India shines on the global stage, exemplified by our successful Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission."

Providing tangible examples of India's achievements, PM Modi underlined the nation's significant role in global affairs, emphasizing its hosting of the G20 summit, which has garnered international attention and fostered new avenues for global connectivity. He also celebrated India's remarkable performance at the Asian Games, securing over 100 medals and cementing its status as a sporting powerhouse.

Moreover, the Prime Minister showcased India's prowess in technology by highlighting the nationwide deployment of 5G technology, making cutting-edge connectivity accessible to every corner of the country. He also commended India's leading position in digital transactions, affirming that the nation conducts the highest number of digital transactions globally.

PM Modi further lauded the "Namo Bharat" train as a symbol of women's empowerment in India. He proudly stated, "On this new train, 'Namo Bharat,' from the driver to the entire crew, they are all women. This exemplifies the growing empowerment of women in India."

Concluding his address, the Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to the timely completion of the Meerut portion of the RRTC, assuring the public that it would be operational within the next 1.5 years. He declared, "I have said this before, and I'm saying it again – we inaugurate what we lay the foundation stone for. And this Meerut section will be completed within the next 1.5 years, and I'll be there at your service."
