Lucknow: Dharmendra Singh of UP, who has registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest stature in the country, is battling a disease these days and has pleaded with CM Yogi Adityanath to provide financial assistance in treatment. Dharmendra has to undergo hip surgery which is expected to cost Takriban Rs 8 lakh.

Dharmendra Singh, 8 feet 1 inch length, had reached Yogi Adityanath's official residence at Kalidas Marg in Lucknow to seek his help, but THE CM was not present. The authorities then asked them to come up with full details of their illness and the estimated cost of treatment, which they are now looking forward to.

Dharmendra Singh said of his illness, "I came to seek help from CM Yogi for hip surgery, but he was not present at home. The estimated cost of my surgery is about Rs 8 lakh and has received an assurance from the authorities to assist and come up with full details. Yadav has also been honoured.
