Mumbai: The pilot of IndiGo's A320 Neo aircraft going to Bangalore from Mayanagari Mumbai on Thursday received a message of caution during the flight. As soon as the message was received, the pilot followed standard operating procedures and, taking precautions, returned the aircraft with passengers to Mumbai. The aircraft is currently undergoing inspection in Mumbai.

Earlier, there was a disturbance in a Pratt & Whitney (PW) engine of the A320 Nio aircraft of IndiGo going to Hyderabad from Telangana on Monday from Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. However, the aircraft was safely landed at Hyderabad. After the safe landing, the PW engine saw considerable vibration. According to the information given by the officials, the PW engine that went wrong will be replaced.

IndiGo issued a statement stating that, "Flight number 6 E-6215 going from Chennai to Hyderabad on December 2, the aircraft driver felt vibration after landing in Hyderabad. The aircraft has been removed from operation. Necessary work related to repair and investigation is going on.
