IndiGo launches six new flights between Kanpur and Delhi.

According to a statement, the budget carrier, IndiGo airlines began six new flights connecting Kanpur with Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad on Monday. These flights will be available every day except Sundays, according to the airline. On Monday, Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia effectively launched the flights. According to the statement, Kanpur is the 71st domestic city to be connected by IndiGo flights.

"These new routes will connect Kanpur, a major financial and industrial centre in the north, to the rest of the country through key hubs in western and southern India, while augmenting trade and commerce within these regions," said Sanjay Kumar, IndiGo's Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer.

Indigo began six domestic flights between Indore and Allahabad, Jodhpur, and Surat on Sunday. According to a statement, the flights, which were virtually launched by Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, will operate on a daily basis.
