Indore: A burqa-clad girl along with her partner thrashed a traffic policeman in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city. The only fault of the traffic policeman was that he had prevented the motorcycle-borne youth from driving in the middle of the road. The video of this case is going viral on social media. The incident is reported to have taken place on Thursday evening. The youths who were fighting up is a resident of Ranipura.

In the viral video, the boy and the burqa-clad girl are seen having a scuffle with the policeman, while the traffic policeman is seen defending himself. At the time of the scuffle, a crowd gathered at the spot, due to this, someone made a video which is going viral. A case has been registered against the man who had manhandled on the complaint of the case.

 

The case is being reported from the Bhamouri area on Thursday evening. Traffic jawan Ranjit Singh was on duty at an intersection here. Due to this, he stopped the young men and women riding the bike and talked about driving the bike the wrong way. At this point, they both started beating him up. The jawan reported the incident to police officials and lodged a report against the boy at Vijay Nagar police station after the matter came to light. Talking about the matter, Traffic DCP Basant Kol said that when the head guard of traffic Ranjit Singh was handling the arrangements at the intersection to ensure the smooth running of traffic. He told the motorcycle-borne youth about driving the wrong way, on which the girl started a scuffle with the policeman. At the same time, the traffic department has lodged a case at Vijay Nagar police station for manhandling the traffic policeman. Police arrested both of them after the incident.
