Indore: Crime cases are on the rise nowadays. The recent case that has come to light is from Banganga area. Here, a 9th student has tried to hang himself to death. He was assaulted by boys living in the neighbourhood as per the information received in the case. There are also reports that he was deeply saddened by the same. The condition of the student is critical at present. As per the information received in the case, the name of the student who attempted suicide is Nihal Pita Shekhar (14) resident of Balmiki Nagar.

Yesterday, he had gone to the toilet of the house and hanged himself, while when his mother caught sight of him, the mother started shouting at him. Hearing the mother's noise, people nearby rushed and took her off the snare and rushed her to the hospital. He is now being treated here. In the case, family members said Nihal came home yesterday and said that Abbu and his accomplices living in the neighbourhood had assaulted him. Nihal's father then explained to him. Nihal said, 'Abbu and his companions were shouting abusive words. When he refused to use those abuse language, they started beating.'

In Nihal's house, the parents explained that minor disputes continue to take place, forget it. After all this, Nihal went to the bathroom and hanged himself with a dupatta. Meanwhile, the mother suddenly reached and screamed when she saw her son hanging from the snare. Hearing the noise, the father and other family members took them off the snare and rushed them to the hospital. On the other hand, police say that further action will be taken soon by taking the statement of the child.
