Indore: The third wave of the corona has hit the Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. Infected cases are on the rise in the city. Of the cases that are coming up now, 50 per cent have a delta, while 50 per cent have omicron infection. So, there is a need to be vigilant. People have to avoid a big programme. The ban will be imposed soon as directed by the government in weddings and other events. District Collector Manish Singh said this while talking to reporters on Wednesday.

He said the way the cases are constantly increasing, it seems to be the third wave. People feel that omicron is not fearful, but they have to be alert. We all know how much outbreak the Delta variant had caused last time. The patients who recovered also faced a lot of problems.

How horrifying will Omicron prove to be? The time to come will tell. We have completed preparations at our level. Singh further said that more than 100 patients had appeared on Tuesday, this would increase further. He said that we are also taking challan action against those who do not wear masks but cannot keep an eye on every person. Citizens have to understand their own responsibility. According to the decision of the Disaster Management Committee and the State Government, we will soon ban rallies and processions along with weddings and other events.
