Indore: Dengue is currently spreading very fast in Indore in Madhya Pradesh. In fact, 22 new cases have been reported here last Friday. As per the information received recently, Indore CHMO Dr. Bhure Singh Setia has informed about the same. He said 225 people have been found infected with dengue in the district so far.

38 children are said to be among the infected. At the same time, he has also informed that all necessary steps are being taken to prevent dengue. Special care is being taken for all the infected persons. Let us also inform all of you that dengue is spreading rapidly in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. In view of this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had recently launched a campaign against dengue, a people's association. He had appealed to the people to come together in the fight against dengue.

Let us also tell all of you that dengue cases are increasing not only in Madhya Pradesh but also in other States.  On the other hand, Dr. B.S. Sethia, Chief Medical Officer, Indore, says, "The increasing cases of dengue have also worried the health department.'' At the same time, he said, "An awareness campaign is being launched by the Health Department to prevent dengue.''
