According to this order, the waste associated with the construction cannot be dumped at non-designated places in the city now and if anyone does so, it is going to be costly. In fact, according to the new orders of the Indore Municipal Administration, people who tarnish the beauty of the city will now have to pay a fine. If someone throws the debris related to the construction here and there, the municipal corporation will collect a fine of Rs 5000. Yes, and this was informed by an Indore Municipal Corporation official last Sunday.
Last Sunday, a municipal official said, "The IMC administration has directed its building authorities to keep an eye on the throwers who leave during new constructions and demolition of old constructions. If a person is found unauthorized lying the debris of houses in open fields or other places, a minimum fine of Rs.5,000 should be collected on-spot."
At the same time, he further said, "Local citizens can inform the Indore Municipal Corporation administration through "Indore 311" mobile app for disposal of construction debris. At the same time, the debris can be lifted by paying the prescribed fee." Asad Warsi, advisor to the IMC for the Central Government's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, says that brick, lids, interlocking tiles, and other materials are being made in the city with the help of technology. He further said, "These materials are being manufactured in a plant that can make 100 tonnes of construction debris every day. The capacity of the plant is being increased five times to 500 tonnes per day in view of the continuous pace of construction activities in the city."
