Indore: Police arrested 4 thieves in robbery at Doordarshan officer's house

Indore:A robbery has been carried out at the house of a Doordarshan officer at Ravindra Nagar in Palasia police station area of Indore in the past few days. Police have arrested four persons including two women in the case. This includes a person who buys goods. Police are currently interrogating the arrested accused. The men are said to have been involved in some incidents in the past as well.

In fact, in the past, thieves had entered the house of Vijender Barania, a Doordarshan officer living in Ravindra Nagar, and broke the locks of shelves and stole jewellery and cash worth lakhs of rupees. Vijender had complained directly to the DGP about the theft after which all senior officials rushed to the spot. In the case, police have taken immediate action and arrested two women including one of the main accused Shamu Silawat and four persons including another accused.

Police have also recovered stolen goods from the arrested accused. The main accused is auto driver, who used to rob houses and carry out the theft by keeping the women with them so that no one could suspect. Police are currently interrogating the arrested accused.
