A shocking incident comes to light from Madhya Pradesh’s financial capital Indore where a Principal was set on the fire by one student leaving everyone in shock. The incident created a huge ruckus at the location. The victim was the principal of BM College
The victim’s Family members had filed various complaints against the accused who set her on fire by but the police did not take any action. The principal has been identified as Vimukta Sharma. As per the information a former student, Ashutosh Shrivastava was upset over the delay in getting his mark sheet and attacked the principal when she was returning home. He threw petrol on her and set her on fire.
She has suffered 90 percent burn injuries and is undergoing treatment. Vimukta is battling for her life at the Choitram Hospital in Indore. According to doctors attending to her, her condition continues to be critical. The accused was harassing her for a long time and she also filed a complaint against him but police did not take any action. There were two complaints were made by principal Vimukta Sharma, one complaint was made by two other faculty members.
SP Rural Bhagvant Singh Virdi said, "An FIR was registered against him and he was sent to jail. As far as the other complaints are concerned, I'm not aware of them. After the allegations made by the faculty members, I spoke to officers on duty at the police station concerned. They have so far denied receiving any complaint but if it is found to be true, action will be taken." The accused has also suffered burn injuries to his chest and hands and has been admitted to the MY Hospital.
