Copra Aloo Pattis is quite famous in Indore and if you are thinking of making it at home then we tell you how to make Copra Aloo Pattis.

Ingredients for making copra potato pattis-
Potatoes boiled – 4
Coconut pumpkin – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 tsp
Bread crumb – 1 cup
Pieces of cashews – 1 tbsp
Raisins – 1 tsp
Corn flour – 1 tsp
Green chilli chopped – 2
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Tamarind Chutney – 1/2 cup
Oil – for frying
Salt – to taste

Method of making copra potato pattis- First boil the potato and take off its peels and mash it well in a pot. Now add corn flour and a little salt to it and mix well. Now in a mixing bowl, add the pumpkin coconut, cashew nut pieces, raisins, finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped coriander leaves and mix them all well. The stuffing of the pettis is ready. Now after this take a small portion of the mashed potato and take it in the shape of a whole. Now place the coconut mixture in the middle of it and give a round shape while closing from all around.

After this, put this ball in the bread crumb, coat it well and put it in a plate. In the same way, prepare the patice balls from all the potatoes. Now take a pan and add oil to it and keep it on a high flame to heat it. When the oil starts to boil, add the patice and fry it. Fry the pettics by flipping over for 2-3 minutes so that it can be golden fry well. Then remove them. In the same way fry all the boxes. The copra potato boxes filled with your taste are ready. Serve them with tamarind chutney.
