Dehradun: The crime case that has come up recently is from Udhamsingh Nagar in Uttarakhand. Where a case of attempted rape by a policeman with a newly wed in a quarantine center has come to light. In this case, the woman returned with her husband from Delhi, where she was kept in a quarantine center in Pulbhatta area. Seeing the case caught fire, the accused policeman has been suspended with immediate effect. It has been reported that in this case Deputy Superintendent of Police Surjit Singh said, "action is being taken to register a case against the accused policeman on the basis of Tahrir".
Cases of rape are continuously coming during lockdown
In this case, a quarantine center has been set up at Surajmal Institute in Pulbhatta area of Kichha. There is also a newly returned couple from Delhi. Now it is alleged in this case that, "A policeman on duty reached the second floor near the alcohol addict and took the newlywed to the room on the floor below." When she opposed it, he said, "There is a system for women to stay down, it will have to go down with me." When the woman refused to leave, the policeman beat up and tore the woman's clothes.

Now, in this case, Kichha MLA Rajesh Shukla objected, saying, "The incident has tarnished the image of the police." He assured the victim's family to investigate the accused policeman and take strict action against him.
