Islamabad: Pakistan is in a bad situation in the reign of PM Imran Khan, who came to power by promising to build a 'new Pakistan'. Inflation has created havoc in the country. The prices of eggs including vegetables and pulses are also on fire. The price of one egg is sold at the rate of Rs. 30, one-kilo sugar 104 rupees, one kilo wheat 60 rupees and ginger at the rate of 1000 rupees a kilo.

PM Imran claimed to have reduced sugar prices a few days ago, but inflation in Pakistan has broken all records. According to Pakistan's leading newspaper ' The Dawn ', the egg prices have risen to 350 Pakistani rupees per dozen (about 160 Indian rupees) due to rising cold demand in most parts of the country. More than 25% of Pakistan's population is below the poverty line. These populations use large-scale eggs in their food.

In December last year, the situation in the country began to deteriorate. When the wheat price went up to Rs. 2000 per 40 kgs. In October 2020, this record was broken. Now, wheat is sold at the rate of Rs. 2400 per 40 kg (Rs. 60 kg).
