Bhilwara: Something has happened in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan that will make you lose your senses. In fact, the in-laws here have been accused of poisoning and killing their daughter-in-law. The daughter-in-law has made videos from the hospital before she dies and leveled the condition very seriously with shocking allegations against the in-laws. In fact, the daughter-in-law says that she was assaulted for dowry. The daughter-in-law also said that she got married two and a half months ago.
Priya, daughter of Head Constable Bhairu Lal, who works in Bhilwara police, was married to Vikram on April 26. Two or four days after her marriage, Priya's mother-in-law started harassing her for dowry and all the in-laws started assaulting her together. A few days ago, Priya was beaten up so much that she had to be admitted to the hospital. Priya, who fought between life and death in the hospital, has made a video narrating the story of the atrocities committed by her in-laws.
In the video, Priya said, ''My father-in-laws sat on top of me and killed me, asked me for Rs. 6 lakhs, but I did not even have 6,000 rupees to pay. My mother-in-law and my father-in-law poisoned me. He took me to the forest and first took off my clothes and then tried to put chilies in my private part. But later I somehow escaped. I'm sorry..!'' She continued, 'The reason for my death is my mother-in-law, father-in-law, and sister-in-law. They assaulted me at night and tore my clothes. I was killed by showing my limbs to my father-in-law, brother-in-law, and jeth.'
Priya's father Bhairu Lal, on the other hand, says, 'At the wedding, he had given all the dowry items along with gold and silver jewellery, TVs, fridges, coolers, cupboards, double beds, and utensils. But Priya's mother-in-law started asking me for Rs 6 lakh.' He said, "Send 6 lakhs and settle your daughter's house. When I refused, they started assaulting the daughter. I went to his in-laws too, talked, but he refused.'' Police say action will be taken in the matter soon.
