Faridabad: Devansh, a class 6 student studying in Saraswati Shishu Sadan School, Tigaon, Faridabad, could not regain his eyesight even after the operation. There is also an allegation of beating a school teacher with a scale. Doctors say that the internal part of the eye was injured due to the scale hitting it. After a few years, its effect may be visible on the other eye also. On the other hand, the District Education Officer says that till now I have no information in this regard. If so, then action is going to be taken against the guilty teacher.

Devansh's father Sundar says that on 21st October i.e. last Saturday, his 12 year old son Devansh had gone to school like normal days. He got information on phone that Devansh suffered an eye injury while studying in school. Blood was leaking from the eyes and he could not see anything. He referred him to a private eye hospital located in Sector 16. Where Dr. Amit Ahuja, after first aid, referred him to Dr. Shroff Hospital in Darya Ganj, Delhi. Where the team of doctors operated for 2 hours, despite this he could not regain his eyesight.

The allegation is that the school teacher Preeti Nagar first beat the child and then made him stand outside the class room. After that he hit him with a steel scale. Let us tell you that Devansh's father says that information about the incident was given on Monday evening. I don't have any information regarding this incident yet. I was busy in the meeting. If so, then the matter will be investigated and action will be taken against the culprit. - Asha Dahiya, District Education Officer I am not aware of this incident. If this has happened, then it is an inhuman incident. It is necessary to take action against such teachers.
