Instagram, one of the famous social media platforms, plans to introduce a new subscription feature. The photo-sharing platform is close to introducing its subscription model, which may require users to make payments to view stories or access other content from the creators. This amount can be Rs.89 per month.

The app store listing for Instagram in India shows a monthly fee of Rs 89 for an 'Instagram subscription'. Instagram chief Adam Mosseri has hinted early this year that the platform was looking for a subscription model for content creators. Apart from Instagram subscriptions, the photo-sharing platform fan club is working on many things including feature. The company's feature will also open up opportunities for users.

Also, users will get a platform to show their best work. Earlier this year, the Instagram head had also hinted at creating a marketplace for NFT. On the other hand, Facebook's parent company Meta has announced that it will remove sensitive ads targeting options related to health, race or ethnicity, political affiliation, religion or sexual issues from January 19, 2022. "From January 19, 2022, we will remove detailed targeting options that people can consider sensitive, such as health, ethnicity, political, religious causes, organizations or public numbers," the company said in a statement.
