Instagram refutes the rumours of hiding its users posts to 7% followers

The popular social networking platform Instagram has rubbished the rumours of  limiting pictures to only 7 per cent of the followers.  Since a couple of days, Instagrammers have been coming across posts that claim the Instagram  does not let their posts to be visible to all their followers and it allows their pictures to be visible to only 7 per cent of their friends. Now, Instagram has claimed these posts as fake.

The fake posts about Instagram limiting users' feeds have been surfacing on the internet for the past few days. The rumours were increasing in number and creating panic among users. Now, Instagram on Tuesday tweeted, " We’ve noticed an uptick in posts about Instagram limiting the reach of your photos to 7% of your followers, and would love to clear this up."

Moreover, the company has confirmed that they never hide posts from people they are following. It has also clarified that the Instagram feed of a user is determined by what posts and accounts they engage with, how often they use Instagram and how many people they follow. The company aslo add that there is no such algorithm that limits their posts to 7 per cent of their followers.
