One of the most popular apps among the youth,Instagram has launched another feature called the "stories" .Its very similar to the Snapchat stories. It did so as to increase more users. With the coming of Snapchat the use of instagram went relatively low.This feature also encourages people to share more moments day and night.

These stories appear in top bar of your feed with a blue ring around the profile picture. The stories are about your friends or the people you follow. Similary people who follow you can see your posted stories.

There is no such feature for likes or comments instead if you want to grab attention of the user who can either direct message or view his/her story as one can see who viewed their content.

Some more features are :-

• Drawing and text tool with the use of neon colour pen
• Private and public accounts i.e if your account is private only people who follow can see your story and the public account stories are visible to all
• The logo of Instagram has also changed to a more colourfull logo.
