USA: In February, Instagram will introduce a new look for the navigation bar. The main menu, currently located at the bottom of the home screen, will change as a result, and the "Instagram Shop" option will no longer be available.

The company claims that the updated navigation menu will make it easier for users to connect and share with their friends and like-minded people.

Shopping will still be a feature of the app, albeit with no obvious shortcut on the home screen. Instagram currently has some geographic restrictions on its Shopping functionality.

Instead of being located next to messages as it currently is, the option to create a new post will now be in the middle of the bottom navigation menu.

The Shopping tab will no longer have a direct shortcut on the home screen and will be replaced by the Reels tab, which was previously in the middle of this menu.
