Intel has developed an original laptop with two displays. Unlike the previous models, the laptop is oriented towards gamers and has an unusual hinge system. According to The Verge , both screens actually hover in the air before the player's eyes, and switching between them is done by simply translating the view into the desired area.

The laptop in the photo was created as part of the Honeycomb Glacier project. This is a gaming model equipped with an eight-core CPU and a discrete Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card (for the concept of such a GPU is enough). The design feature is in two rows of loops: due to this, each of the screens, as well as the keyboard, can be set at its own angle. Unlike the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo, whose additional screen is located on the dashboard and may occasionally fall out of sight, Honeycomb Glacier's both displays are constantly in front of the eyes, so the informativity of the additional screen absolutely does not suffer.

As the source writes, behind the loops is a fairly powerful cooling system, but with one fan. Also, the design provides a system for monitoring the movements of the eyes Tobii. It determines which screen displays the user's perspective and makes the corresponding display active - no need to move the mouse cursor over it, for example, to start typing in the browser search box or in a text document. According to the plan, the main display (15.6 inches diagonal and Full HD resolution) should be used for gaming, but for an additional 12.3 "diagonal and a resolution of 1920 x 720 pixels, it is possible to output a control panel for broadcasting games on the net, chat window, or social networks.

About the future of the Honeycomb Glacier, while speaking early, is at best the prospect of next year. But in general, such models are seen as a kind of transition between conventional laptops and laptops with flexible screens - Lenovo has already promised Lenovo as a serial model next year.
