Eminent former coach of Italy's club Inter Milan Giki Simoni died at the age of 81. The club gave information about this. The club won the UEFA Cup title under Simony's coach. He had tied up with the club before the 1997–98 season and at the same time the club had linked Brazilian Ronaldo to Barcelona.

The club said in a statement last Friday, that his way of life was very ordinary in life as well as in football. His football used to say that he was humble, working and a person who took full advantage of whatever opportunity he was given.
