New Delhi: After America, Germany is also reacting to the issue of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi going back to the Lok Sabha. Now a dispute has started between the BJP and Congress in India regarding this. On one hand, Congress leaders are also saying 'thank you' to Germany. At the same time, the BJP has made it clear that foreign 'interference will not be tolerated'.

First, understand what Germany said: On Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry of Germany said that, according to our information, Rahul Gandhi can appeal against the decision. After which it is going to be clear whether the decision can stand and whether there is any basis for this suspension or not. He also said that it is necessary to use the norms of judicial independence and democratic principles in this case.

Congress thanked the former Madhya Pradesh CM and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh for the response. He tweeted, 'Thanks to Germany's Foreign Ministry and Richard Walker for taking cognizance of how democracy in India is going to be compromised through harassment of Rahul Gandhi.'

The BJP said India will not tolerate: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has also retaliated against the Congress leader's tweet. He wrote, 'Thank you, Rahul Gandhi, for calling on foreign forces to interfere in India's internal affairs. Remember that foreigners can also interfere with the Indian judiciary. India will not tolerate foreign influence anymore because we have Narendra Modi as our Prime Minister.

Rahul and the issue of foreign interference: It may be mentioned that Rahul Gandhi's visit to Britain had come into controversy some time back. Meanwhile, the BJP has also accused him of inviting other countries to interfere in India. During an address in London, the Congress leader alleged how institutions in India were under threat and were taken over by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He had said that 'the method of democratic elections in India has completely changed, and the reason for that is one organisation, the RSS... He also said that Europe and America are not doing enough to restore democracy in India.
