Govinda Sharma has been a known name in the sport of basketball at the international level. He is among a handful of players who have gained laurels in the FIBA 3x3 basketball tournament. He is in fact, the only player in India to own this title. He is a national level coach and has helped his team to bag a couple of awards particularly during 2019 to 20. He is among the first men in the country to be FIBA 3x3 Certified in the Basketball School. Govinda is among few people who left his lucrative corporate job to choose his passion over the hefty salary he earned in his career.

He had the chance to work with top companies like Byju's, Indospirit, IOT etc. where he earned hefty salaries. He then headed to Singapore to get his training and then took a plunge in his favorite sport of Basketball. After being an ace player of basketball, he headed to work as a coach and so far he has trained more than 2000 players both at the national and international level. He has been the head coach at the prestigious NBA Basketball School. Being involved in the said sport, he was able to coach players with utmost professionalism and perfection.

It did help his team at the national level tournaments to win a couple of championships as well. This speaks a lot about his credibility after he is a man of global repute as far as global level basketball is concerned. Being an ace player, he has won a couple of awards as well. Besides being active in sports, he is also a great foodie and is co-owner of a food truck venture called ‘’ Sadde Daddy da Truck “. He has been catering to the foodie in a big way with his food truck. His journey is still on the path of basketball.
