International Civil Aviation Day is made today i.e. 7th December. Celebrated on 7 December 2013 with the objective of highlighting the importance of civil aviation for social, economic development around the world.

3. According to an ICAO initiative of the Un General Assembly in 1996 and with the assistance of the Canadian government, international civil aviation day was announced as December 7.

4. The International Civil Aviation Organisation works closely with other UN members including the World Meteorological Organization, the International Telecommunications Association, the Universal Postal Union, the World Health Organization and the International Maritime Organization.
