Coffee is loved all over the world. International Coffee Day is celebrated on the 1st of October each year. This day is celebrated to remember the struggles of millions of farmers whose livelihood depends on this aromatic crop. International Coffee Day provides an occasion for all coffee lovers to share their love for the drink. In 2014, the International Coffee Organisation selected to observe International Coffee Day every year on the 1st of October. It is also celebrated to raise consciousness about issues of coffee farmers across the globe.

This Day also observes the long history of the drink. The properties of coffee beans are likely to have first been discovered in the country of Ethiopia. The seeds are the pits found in the coffee berry or cherry. Unquestionably, International Coffee Day can be admired in the best way with a delicious cup of coffee and as coffee is the second-largest traded commodity right after crude oil, and the most consumed beverage, after water; so people also have different taste for this beverage.
