Today, women in every field are dedicating their talent. They don't even lack courage. This has been proved by the women of Bijraul and Barwala villages of Baghpat district of UP. Who has also taken over the steering of tractors following PM Narendra Modi's mantra of self-reliance. In the same way, other women are also being made aware and writing about self-reliance in farming.

In the same Bijraul village, for about two and a half years ago, Gram Sangathan was formed. Its treasurer Rekha Arya said that first the group was formed and after that, the village organization was formed. 135 women are associated with this. She further said that under the Aajeevika Mission, the women of 8 Self Help Groups belonging to the organization had received agricultural implements like tractors, heroes, tiller etc. from the government. The women belonging to the group are earning their livelihood by renting out these machines.

The Shakti Mahila Gram Sangathan of the same Barwala village was formed a month and a half ago. Its member Shabana has also received the tractor. Eight groups are associated with this organization and about 110 women are active members. Bijraul resident Rekha says she herself is driving tractors in the fields. In addition, she is made available to needy farmers at cheaper fares. The income from this is currently being credited to the account of the organization.
