International Soccer and a star player Lionel Messi gave a shock to the world when the Jersey no. 10 announced his retirement from International football after the Argentina continuously lost fourth major final of Copa America final to Chile on Sunday.

After the Chile stunned Argentina to win the coveted title in a penalty shoot out, playing two days after t\his 29th birthday, Messi lost a final for the third year in a row and said, “For me, the national team is over, I've done all I can. It hurts not to be a champion”.

Also, Messi major International honour is Olympic gold at the 2008 Games, he also , has won eight La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues with Spanish side Barcelona.

As well as, Messi is the only player who won 3 Golden Boots, and 5 Ballon D’ors. The forward, he won 28 trophies and 39 Hat tricks.
