But we are here to tell you about the leading female journalists, who have aced in their field and we can see them every time on our television sets.
 
Shereen Bhan


A news anchor and managing editor of CNBC-TV18, Shereen Bhan, is responsible for breaking a range of news stories in Indian Economy. Her stories have refined and played a very significant role in our national economy. Apart from this, she has also interviewed biggest business tycoons and politicians, both domestic and worldwide. One of India’s longest-running show on entrepreneurs, Young Turks, is anchored and edited by her.

 

Sweta Singh


The lady whom you can see on your small screen in the prime hours of the news channel, Sweta Singh is one of the most renowned news presenter/anchor of India. She worked with Zee News and Sahara before finally joining Aaj Tak in 2002, till date. She has mastered in sports journalism and won a number of awards in the respective field. She is a graduate in Mass Communications from Patna University.

 

Anjana Om Kashyap


With a kickstart with 'Aankhon Dekhi' on Doordarshan in 2003, Anjana Om Kashyap has called upon by Zee News in the same year after judging her proficiency in journalism. After Zee News, she joined News 24 in 2007, and later Star News, before finally settling as a news presenter for ‘Aaj Tak’ and hosts the daily debate show Halla Bol, ‘Rajtilak’ and ‘Dilli Ke Dil Mein Kya Hain’.

 

Mayanti Langer


Mayanti Langer is a sports journalist and anchors in India. She started as a guest anchor for a broadcast of FIFA beach football. Following its success, she collaborated with Zee Sports to host Football Café. Later, ties with ESPN witnessed her heading a team of expert panellists, analyzing games. She was also an anchor for Cricket World Cup 2015 for Star Sports.
