Andhra Pradesh: On Wednesday, police in Andhra Pradesh raided an interstate trafficker and confiscated 1,400 kg of cannabis.

Two people have been arrested in connection with a cannabis shipment being transported in a lorry from Vizag agency in Andhra Pradesh to Madhya Pradesh, according to police.

"We seized the cannabis, and a truck and a car, and detained two people who were transporting it. The car served as a test vehicle, with the white product being transported in a lorry " said the official. He went on to say, "We have arrested two suspects, and criminal charges have been filed against them, and they will appear in court. The cannabis was being smuggled from Andhra Pradesh's Vizag agency to Madhya Pradesh."

According to the police officer, they have also asked bankers to take the accounts of other suspects who allegedly sent lakhs of rupees to the criminals. "The lawsuit comprised a total of five defendants, including a buyer, vendor, middleman, and carriers.
