Fake Facebook ID posted intimate photos of wife, husband arrested

New Delhi: Police have arrested their husband in Gautam Budh Nagar district adjoining the country's capital Delhi for posting obscene videos of his own wife on social media. The accused husband has been arrested under relevant sections and sent behind bars. The arrested husband is said to be a resident of Bhodsi in Haryana. The operation has been carried out by the police of Ecotech-3 police station in Noida.

According to information provided by noida police PRO, Ravindra Raghav of Bhodsi in Haryana was married to Mamata (changed name). During the lockdown last year, the husband and wife had a quarrel over something. After the controversy, Sushmita left her in-laws and moved to Greater Noida and started working in a company. Ravindra was so annoyed by his wife's visit to Greater Noida and working that he created a fake Facebook ID in the name of Pawan Dhankhar and uploaded videos of his wife. He described his own wife as a call girl on the social media platform. Ravindra also put up a regular rate list and phone number along with his wife's photo.

According to police officials, the victim came to know about this when she started getting calls from unknown numbers. People were talking to her as a callgirl. Fed up with this, Sushmita lodged a report with the Ecotech-3 police station. After investigating the case, the involvement of her husband in the case came to light. Police have arrested the accused husband. The mobile phone used in the incident has also been seized from him. Police have sent the mobile phone for forensic examination.
