The first official teaser for Bajaj Auto's new Pulsar 250 motorbike has been released. The new video reveals the exterior design of the new Pulsar, which is expected to become the company's flagship model. Along with clues at the external appearance, Bajaj Auto has also revealed some of the new bike's major characteristics.

The new Pulsar will have the same semi-faired design as the present Pulsar 220F model on the outside. There will be split seats and telescopic front forks, as well as rearview mirrors positioned on the fairing. While the company has not shown the bike's instrument panel, it is expected to be semi-digital.

The teaser also indicates that the bike will have sharp-looking LED DRLs and that one of the model's versions would have a projector headlight. The bike will also have alloy wheels and a belly pan to protect the engine. The bike's engine, which will be a single-cylinder oil-cooled unit, has also been teased by the manufacturer. This unit might be a rebored version of the Pulsar 220F motorcycle's powerplant. The engine's entire output is expected to be in the area of 26PS/22NM, although official data will be disclosed in the last week of October.

On October 28th, the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will be available in India. Apart from this, Bajaj Auto has a number of other interesting products in its pipeline, including a new Dominar version.
