Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede has filed an application in the Bombay High Court. He has said in his petition that if an inquiry is conducted against him, it should be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Sameer Wankhede's petition is against the investigation being conducted by the Mumbai Police. At the same time, Wankhede has also demanded interim security.

Mumbai NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, who is investigating the Aryan Khan drug case, now seems to be caught in a double probe. While Mumbai police have started an investigation against him, the vigilance department of his department NCB has started the other. The two investigations against Sameer Wankhede started after an affidavit of Prabhakar Sail, who was made an independent witness in the Aryan Khan case, came to light.

Prabhakar Sail had made public an affidavit on internet media on Sunday saying that NCB had signed 10 plain papers as a punch in the Aryan Khan case. Sall had also alleged that he had heard another punch in the same case Kiran Gosavi talking about recovering Rs 25 crore from his friend named Sam D'Souza.
