Dehradun: The trouble of BJP's expelled MLA from Khanpur in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, Kunwar Pranab Singh 'champion' is not coming to end. The police have now launched an investigation against him over the Arms Act after a video of him weaving arm went viral on social media. According to BJP Uttarakhand in-charge Shyam Jaju, MLA Kunwar Pranab Singh Champion has been expelled from the party on charges of conducting unwarranted conduct.
With the launch of an investigation into the viral video of MLA Kunwar Pranab Singh 'Champion' waving a weapon, the weapons with the Haridwar police have also been probed. Police are investigating the licensed weapons they have first. The police have doubt that the MLA will not have a licence to possess all the weapons that were used for drunken driving. If this happens, the first case will be filed under the Arms Act.
Uttarakhand MLA Kunwar Pranab Singh Champion, who is suspended from the BJP, has now been expelled by the party. Since the video surfaced, the party is deeply displeased with the high command MLA's move. A notice of removal has been sent to the champion. The party has sought a reply from the MLA within 10 days.
