The Ministry put money directly into the players' accounts instead of sending Indian teams to these sports. The IOA has sent the expenditure of six crores 54 lakhs to the Ministry for a huge team of 776. The amount of air travel is not included in this amount. Not only this, India is not going to field its teams in the cricket included in these games after 2010. The IOA talked to the BCCI and tried to field a male and female team, but it did not succeed.

This total amount sits around Rs six crore 54 lakhs. IOA executive has decided not to bear the expenses. The final decision on the ministry team will be given after the list of players.
