Indian Oil Corporation Limited has sought applications from candidates for recruitment to the post of an apprentice. Eligible candidates will be able to apply online by visiting the official portal, iocl.com. The process of applying online on the official portal will start from November 23, 2020. The last date to apply is December 19, 2020. Under this recruitment, a total of 436 vacancies of apprentices are to be filled.

Date of written examination: 3 January 2021
Educational Qualification:
Different educational qualifications have been fixed for different trades/disciplines.
Age Range:
The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 24 years by November 30, 2020, for General / EWS candidates. Whereas, for SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PWBD candidates, the maximum age limit will be waived off the rule.
Apprenticeship training period:
Trade Apprentice- Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice) and Trade Apprentice- Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders) will undergo 15 months training. 12-months training will be given to selected candidates for all other subjects.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and meeting the notified eligibility criteria. The duration of the written examination will be 90 minutes. Objective type questions will be asked in the written examination. The total number of questions will be 100. All questions will be in both Hindi and English mediums.
