The first iPhone (2007)
On January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone. It was a combination of a widescreen iPod, a mobile phone and an Internet communicator. It went on sale on June 29, 2007 and revolutionized the world of mobile phones. It had a 3.5-inch display, a 2-megapixel camera and up to 16GB of storage.
iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS (2008-2009)
iPhone 3G was launched on July 11, 2008 with 3G connectivity and App Store. This was followed by iPhone 3GS on June 19, 2009, featuring better camera and video recording.
iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S (2010-2011)
The iPhone 4 was launched on June 24, 2010, featuring a front-facing camera and Retina display. This was followed by the iPhone 4S on October 14, 2011, which introduced the Siri voice assistant for the first time.
iPhone 5 to iPhone 7 (2012-2016)

iPhone X was launched on 3 November 2017, featuring Face ID and OLED display for the first time. It was followed by the iPhone XS, iPhone XS MAX, and iPhone XR in 2018. The iPhone 11 series arrived on 20 September 2019, featuring Night Mode and ultra-wide cameras. The iPhone 12 series was launched on 23 October 2020, featuring 5G connectivity for the first time.
iPhone 13 to iPhone 15 (2021-2023)
The iPhone 13 series arrived on September 24, 2021, with improvements in battery life and camera quality. The iPhone 14 series launched on September 16, 2022, with new features like crash detection and satellite connectivity. The iPhone 15 series arrived on September 22, 2023, with USB-C ports and powerful processors.
iPhone 16 (2024)
Now it's the turn of the iPhone 16 series, which will be launched on 9 September 2024. This series may include iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
