Today marks the 15th anniversary of the 21st century’s most dominant device. It was on this day back in 2007 when American entrepreneur, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple unveiled the first-ever iPhone of the series.

The phone continues to rule the market even today after over a decade of its release. The first iPhone went on sale in the US market in June 2007, and in Asia in 2008.

However, many pioneers of the market thought that Apple releasing an iPhone was a bad idea, because of its price and various other factors including its not having a keyboard, Apple’s own Operating System instead of Windows, and many more.

The first iPhone was released only in seven countries and yet went over to revolutionalize the smartphone market. The first Apple iPhone had a thick chassis, a basic home button, and a 2MP camera at the rear and it was powered by a Samsung chipset.

The recent version of the iPhone series in the market is the iPhone 13 Pro, which includes the latest technology from Apple. The iPhone is the biggest competitor for any rival in the market.

It is likely that the series will continue as it has with annual product releases, and many are already anticipating the next version of the phone.

The models will keep on ruling the market with improved speed, weight, battery life, camera resolution, and storage capacity. However, tech experts do not think that there will be any groundbreaking innovation in the next years.
