Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 28 (NT): After returning from a 2 years ban and a long wait of six years, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 title went to the league's most consistent MS Dhoni –led team - the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

While the CSK grabbed the IPL 11 Cup and hearts of cricket lovers too, it was Shreyas Iyyer-led Delhi Daredevils (DD), the team which finished eighth on the points table that conquered the closing ceremony by winning three of the eight awards.

Delhi's Rishabh Pant was accorded the Emerging Player of IPL 2018.

Pant, who was the second highest run-getter in the Cricket Carnival, scored 684 runs from 14 games, also grabbed the most Stylish Player award.

Meanwhile, DD's Trent Boult  was conferred the Perfect Catch award for his stunning one-handed catch against Royal Challenges Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI), who could not enter to the play offs also in this 11th season of IPL, were accorded the Fairplay Award.

Sunil Narine from Kolkata Knight Rider side struck two times as he won the Super Striker and Valuable Player award.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Kane Williamson (735 runs) clinched the Orange Cap as he scored Most Runs while Kings XI pacer Andrew Tye (24 wickets) recived the Purple Cap  for taking Most Wickets.

Shane Watson who has retired from Australia, who helped the CSK chase down the 179-run target in 18.3 overs with his brillent ton of 117 runs in 57 balls won the Player of the Match.
