New Delhi: IPL in a thrilling encounter played yesterday in 2021, Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a super over. After the defeat, SRH batsman Kane Williamson said he was tired of losing consistently in the Super Over. Williamson, who played a brilliant 66-run innings in the match, also said that even after losing the match, the team has got a chance to learn a lot and the experience will be of great use in the tournament.

Let's say Williamson has been a part of many matches so far that have resulted from super overs. The most famous of these is the final match of the ODI World Cup between New Zealand and England in 2019. Both the teams were equal in the Super Over in this match. According to the rules, the winner was decided on the basis of how many boundaries the team hit in the match. England won the match and the New Zealand team, captained by Williamson, missed out on winning the World Cup.

Williamson said at the virtual press conference "I'm tired of losing in these super overs now,  chasing a difficult target gives a lot to learn. There are very few matches in cricket that are tied. We'll learn a lot from this defeat".
