New Delhi: All the remaining IPL matches postponed due to corona will now be played in Dubai. According to reports, the final will be played on October 10. A senior BCCI official has informed in this regard. A senior BCCI official said the postponed IPL will resume tentatively in the UAE on September 18 or 19, with 10 double headers expected to be played in three weeks.

BCCI official said the final match can be held on October 9 or 10. Three weeks will be enough to complete the remaining 31 matches of the season. The sixth season was postponed in the first week of May due to the Corona virus. In fact, the BCCI could incur a loss of about 3,000 crore rupees if the 14th season is not resumed. So BCCI wants to complete the 14th season every year. In view of the prevailing situation, the 14th season of IPL is not possible in India.

BCCI, keeping in view the safety of the sportspersons, the UAE was placed on priority for organizing IPL. Last year, IPL was a huge success in UAE and not a single case of corona virus was reported throughout the tournament. Let us tell you that the 1st season of IPL began on April 9. But after playing 29 matches, several players were found to be infected with corona at the same time and IPL had to be postponed. In the 14th season of IPL, 31 matches are yet to be played.
