Friday, Royal Challengers and Rising Pune Supergiant took the limelight as captain Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers smashed brisk half centuries to direct Royal Challengers Bangalore to a well-merited 13-run triumph over Rising Pune Supergiants in the Indian Premier League match, in Pune.
The Royal Challengers hit the marvelous inning as De Villiers's 83 off 46 balls, inclusive of six boundaries and two sixes, and Kohli's 80 off 63 deliveries, during which he struck seven fours and two hits over the fence, to post a healthy 185 for five
. Chasing the target, Pune had a bad start, slumping to 18 for two by the end of the third over.
